Meet the Collection

The Yokohama Museum celebrates the 30th anniversary of its opening in 2019, the exhibition "Meet the Collection" - Art, People and Museum of Art that showcase the collections using every exhibition room.

In addition to 2 parts of the world, the exhibition showcases over 300 pieces of art, sculptures, prints, photos, videos, and crafts from our wide collection of 2 parts including "LIFE" and "Form of the World" and Chapter 7. In addition, we invite four artists (Tabaiimo), Yusuke Asai (Asai Yuusuke), Kage Imazu (Mazu-Kei), Shio Sugagi (Suga Kishio)), and put their works together in the same space as a variety of works held in our house to create a place to meet each other.
This exhibition book contains approximately 100 carefully selected items from this collection and includes an explanation manual and a guest and artist text to create a concentrated mini book.
