This is Jane Goodall's account of the early years of her field study of, and adventures with, chimpanzees in Tanzania in the 1960s. She is the founder of the Gombe Stream Research Centre in Tanzania and the Jane Goodall Institute for Wildlife Research, Education and Conservation.
